In order to type in Japanese text, I use the input method Egbridge 15 from Ergo software. While this input method is very convenient, I’m fluent enough to be at ease with Japanese menus. Alas, even if you set your software to run in English, the menu still appears in Japanese, as there is no English localisation.
In order to solve this problem, I have created an english localisation to use with the software. How to use this?
- Download the English Localisation
- Uncompress the file
English.lproj.zip - Copy the
English.lprojfolder into/Library/Components/EGBRIDGE15.component/Contents/Resources/folder - Logout and login again
Voilà, the input menu now should display in English if you selected the English language for the interface.
