I found on boing-boing a link to an interesting sequence of TV interviews. Peter Schiff, the president of Euro Pacific Capital basically predicts the current economical crash. What is the most impressive is not the fact that somebody could predict the issues, but the attitude of the people he is arguing with, the extreme arrogance of his interlocutors. Besides the huge financial problem, it seems there is also a huge cultural problem.

There are some things to be said about the morality of the people more or less described as the “heroes” to that story (who made tons of money by selling short during the crisis), but the article is interesting for the insight into the abyss of Wall Street finance.
